Hi, it’s Alun. I wanted to share a bit of news, I've recently moved into a physical office. Up until now, I’ve worked using a virtual office setup, combined with remote work and site visits. That’s worked well, and to be clear, I’m still offering remote services and still visiting businesses in person when it makes sense.
The difference now is that I’ll also have a proper, physical office space, somewhere local, practical, and useful for the businesses I work with. This isn’t about being more “corporate” or tied to a desk. It’s about access, trust, and doing the job properly.
Check Out My New Setup
A Quick Bit of Context (So This Makes Sense)
Most of my work is with local businesses across Rhondda and the South Wales Valleys:
tradespeople
service businesses
shops and venues
one‑person businesses and small teams
For a long time, working virtually made sense:
SEO is done by my team at head office
most communication happens by phone or email
And that’s still true. But as the business has grown, having a local physical base brings a few important benefits for me and for the businesses I work with.
Why I’m Moving Into a Physical Office
1) Some conversations are better face‑to‑face
A lot of the work I do isn’t really “about websites”.
It’s about:
understanding how your business actually works
spotting where customers get confused
figuring out why enquiries aren’t coming in
deciding what your website should say (in plain English)
Those conversations are often easier when we can sit down, have a coffee/tea, and talk it through properly. A physical office gives that option, without forcing anyone into it.
2) It adds reassurance for local businesses
Let’s be honest, when you’re choosing someone to help with your website or SEO, trust matters.
A local office means:
you know where I’m based
you know I’m properly invested locally
you’re not dealing with a faceless online agency
Especially for businesses in Treorchy, Tonypandy, Porth, Ferndale, Pentre, Ystrad and across Rhondda Cynon Taf, that local connection still counts.
3) It supports better, more focused work
Having a dedicated workspace means fewer distractions and more time spent on the things that actually help businesses:
improving clarity on service pages
sorting local SEO so Google understands your services and location
tightening up website wording so people take action
making sure your website answers customer questions before they even ring
In short: better focus = better results.
What’s Not Changing (This Bit’s Important)
Even with a physical office, the way I work doesn’t suddenly change.
✅ I still work remotely
✅ I still offer site visits
✅ I still keep things flexible
✅ I still work around your business, not the other way round
If you prefer:
phone calls
video calls
WhatsApp
Email
Me popping out to see you
…that’s all still on the table. The office is an option, not a requirement.
Who This Is For (and Who It Isn’t)
This setup is ideal for:
local businesses who like knowing where their support is based
people who want the option of a face‑to‑face chat
businesses who value long‑term support, not quick fixes
It’s probably not for:
people looking for the cheapest website possible
businesses that want something flashy but unclear
My focus is still the same: Clarity → Trust → Action
Areas I Work With
I continue to support businesses across:
Tonypandy
Porth
Ferndale
Pentre
Ystrad
Trehafod
Tonyrefail
Aberdare
Mountain Ash
Merthyr Tydfil
Blaenau Gwent
wider South Wales Valleys
If you’ve searched for:
web design Rhondda
website designer Treorchy
SEO services Rhondda Cynon Taf
web designer South Wales
…you’re exactly who this business is built for.
What This Means for You
Whether we meet:
in the new office
over a video call
on your site
or never face‑to‑face at all
The goal stays the same:
✅ a website that explains what you do clearly
✅ an online presence that builds trust
✅ better quality enquiries
✅ less confusion for customers
The physical office just gives another way to support that properly.
Final Thoughts
This move isn’t about changing how I work, it’s about supporting local businesses better.
If your website feels unclear, outdated, or isn’t bringing work in, the fix usually isn’t complicated. It just needs the right focus.
And now, there’s a local door you can knock on as well.
